Ethan had his latest PASS Clinic visit today. Nothing unusual; just went over his past history. We also talked about the ICU since he is scheduled to go to the ICU after his surgery. He was scheduled to go to the ICU after his last surgery, but he did so well that he went to the regular surgical floor instead. We hope he will do so well this time that he will skip the ICU this time too. Ethan cried when I took his shoes off, but otherwise did very well. He even made friends with the nurse practitioner, talking to her the whole time and showing off his toy. For the first time his height was measured in the standing position versus laying down on the table and having the nurse make marks at his head and feet to be measured. He was also weighed on a standing scale instead of on a baby scale for the first time. I guess my little man is growing up!
